Grounded !

Written during the 2021 COVID lockdowns in New Zealand this is meant to be an uplifting piece, however the clever title concocted by my good friend Grant Langdon reflects something I am sure much of the world has been feeling these past 2 years, whilst also referring to the 'Ground Bass' evident in the music. 

A solid band piece built on a ground bass, featuring small solo flourishes by most of the principal instruments  and giving the percussionists chance to shine.
