Hector The Hero - Optionally featuring 2 Snare Drums

The famous and lovely Scottish lament arranged for brass band, as performed by the Band of The Royal Regiment of New Zealand Artillery.

This version starts quietly with an optional off stage solo cornet, and short solos by flugel and euphonium before continuing on to a stirring band piece featuring 2 marching snare drums stationed at the front of the band (although it can be played without as there is a covering drum part).

It continues on to a rousing finale and makes a great opening or finishing piece for any concert program.
